Lucyd Armor Vantage (LCD008-30)

A new addition to the Armor lineup — extended prescription range, Keyhole bridge for comfort, and more eye coverage.

The Lucyd Armor Vantage is the newest addition to the Armor lineup. It keeps everything you expect from Armor — Bluetooth audio, USA-tuned open-ear speakers, durable safety-grade frame — and adds three meaningful upgrades for prescription wearers.

Who Armor Vantage is for

  • Wearers with a prescription outside the base Armor range (-2 to +8 SPH).
  • Anyone who finds adjustable nosepads uncomfortable or catches them in long hair — the Keyhole bridge sits flat against the bridge of the nose.
  • Wearers who want more lens coverage for eye protection in everyday use.

Compatibility

Armor Vantage uses the same audio + connectivity + app stack as base Armor:

  • Bluetooth 5.3 (iOS 13+, Android 8+)
  • USA-tuned open-ear speakers
  • Touch controls + voice assistant (Siri, Google Assistant, Lucyd AI, ChatGPT)
  • Same charging cable + accessories

If you have ear protection or hard-hat questions: see Armor Gear Compatibility.

Safety ratings

Armor Vantage passed ANSI Z87.1-2020 basic impact and is marked “Z87”, without the plus. It also passed CSA Z94.3:20 as a Class 1A protector.

Vantage is not rated for high impact. Do not use it where Z87+ is required. Within the Armor line, Armor base and Armor Slim are the Z87+ high-impact variants — see Lucyd Armor safety ratings.

These ratings apply to the frame with non-prescription (plano) lenses. ANSI Z87-2 / Z87-2+ prescription qualification is still in progress across the Armor line, so we don’t claim an impact rating on Rx orders yet.
