Armor accessories & gear compatibility
Charging, lenses, swap kits, and which hard hats / ear protection work well with Lucyd Armor.
Charging
Lucyd Armor uses a USB-C charging cable that clips onto the temple endtips. Every Armor unit ships with a cable and a zipper case for storage. Armor is not compatible with the Lucyd magnetic dock (the dock works only with Lucyd Lyte’s magnetic temple contacts).
You can use any standard USB-C wall plug — pick one that’s around 5V / 2A for fastest charging.
Lenses
Armor lenses can be swapped — clear, sun, polarized, photochromic (Lucyd Shift). Custom prescription lenses for Armor cost $25 more than the standard Lyte custom lenses because of the high-curvature safety frame.
- Lucyd Shift (photochromic) — clear indoors, darkens outdoors. Included as standard.
- Custom Rx — single vision, progressive, bifocal, reader. Add at checkout.

Gear compatibility {#gear-compatibility}
Lucyd Armor is designed to work with the safety gear you already wear at work. We’ve tested with the following hard hats and ear protection.
Note: Lucyd Armor is rated for general safety use and UV protection — it is NOT rated for high-impact (ANSI Z87+). For Z87+ workplaces, see our B2B Safety line.
